Senator Jim Dabakis announced on Saturday he is running for Salt Lake City Mayor.
Dabakis, D-Salt Lake City, will be running against incumbent democrat mayor Ralph Becker.
According to his blog he’s been a Salt Lake City resident since 1971.
“Salt Lake has allowed me to have a great, fairy tale life,” said Dabakis. “I am immensely grateful and I would humbly love to pay back the people of this great city to show my appreciation.”
